Another Day, Another (Fall) Jumpsuit

Some girls boast a closet filled with vintage pieces, countless pairs of denim, or sneakers. I, on the other hand, have built a collection of jumpsuits over the years. They are what I automatically find myself reaching for when I’m staring at my closet with the “What should I wear?” and “I’m running late and just need to pick something” thoughts running through my mind. They are not only easy, flattering, and functional (okay, except when it comes to using the bathroom), but also a great alternative to dresses. Whether you’re lounging around the house, going to work, or attending an event, you can count on a jumpsuit to grab, throw on, and instantly look polished (not to mention look like you tried harder than you did pulling your outfit together).

Of course, some jumpsuits are more suitable for certain occasions than others and for that reason, I suggest having three different styles in your wardrobe — one for casual weekend vibes, one that says girl boss, and one for when you catch the bouquet. The one I’m wearing here lends itself well to most occasions, both casual and dressier, depending on how you accessorize it. But the subtly sexy V-neckline in front and back of this jumpsuit, combined with its culotte-style bottom half and unique color, make it speak for itself, so it doesn’t need much else to complete the look. What’s more, it makes for the perfect fall transition outfit. Finish it off with a leather jacket and some boots for those cooler fall nights. Talk about versatility!
